Logging¶

The compiled module can print status and timing information, useful for debugging and profiling. emit turns status output on or off, and emit_datetime adds times to it.

emit ¶

emit() -> bool

emit(status: bool) -> bool

emit() -> bool

Return the output status of the brille status printer.

Returns:

bool –

The value of the status printer STDOUT switch.

emit_datetime ¶

emit_datetime() -> bool

emit_datetime(status: bool) -> bool

emit_datetime() -> bool

Return the timestamp output status of the brille status printer.

Returns:

bool –

The value of the status printer timestamp switch
